EPI Limited was established in 1920 in Liverpool and during the period 1920 to 1939 built up a substantial reputation in the electrical engineering field throughout the North West, North Midlands and North Wales.
During this period the Company was involved in major electrical projects, including, for example, all the electrical for the first Mersey Tunnel which opened shortly before the Second World War.
